  1. Curious as to why you chose to work in back loops only in Round 5 of the base and Round 10 of the Cake in your pattern? These are the exact locations that I designed to work back loops only in my copyrighted published free cupcake pincushion pattern over a year ago. I developed these locations for very specific reasons for the purpose of the end product after trial and error of multiple end results. So what was the purpose you had for working in back loops only in your design? Very curious to know.

    1. Hi, Niki.
I don't understand very well your comment. I have decided to work in back loops in round 5 because I want the base to be 24 points and in that very moment I need to grow, so it's the perfect moment. If I had wanted a base of 30 points, I had chosen to make the back loops in round 6 (no mistery, only maths!).

The same for round 10.I decided the tall of the base making some proofs, and at that moment I need a round of back loops for the ribbon. It could have be round 10, or round 9, or round 11, it only depends on how tall you want the base of the cupcake.

I don't know you, I don't even know if you have a blog, and I can assure you I haven´t had a look at your work. This is a very easy pattern, and with a few maths basis everyone can obtain it, and I'm sure there are thousand of patterns nearly the same in the web.
