Rematar y coser al cuerpo.

Bufanda

Hacer 70 cadenetas al aire.

Girar la labor, 1 cadeneta, 70 p.b (uno por cada cadeneta)

Girar la labor, 1 cadeneta, 70 p.b.

Rematar y entretejer la hebra.

Con fieltro blanco cortar la barriga del pingüino (la mitad de un óvalo, más o menos).

Con fieltro naranja o amarillo cortar un triángulo que sea el piquito.

Con un pegamento para telas pegar la barriga y el pico al pingüino.

Colocar la bufanda por encima de las alas de una manera estilosa.

Stitches and abbreviations

Sc: simple crochet

St: stitch

Materials

Medium size yarn (one color for the penguin and another for the scarf)
White and orange felt
Crochet hook with a size suitable for the yarn size (3.5mm, for instance)
Safety eyes
Tapestry need
Toy filling

Body

With yarn, 3.5mm size hook,

Round 1: 2 ch, sc 6 times in 2nd ch from hook (6)

Round 2: sc twice in each st (12)

Round 3: *1 sc, 1 inc.*, repeat 6 times (18)

Round 4: *2 sc, 1 inc.*, repeat 6 times (24)

Round 5: *3 sc, 1 inc.*, repeat 6 times (30)

Round 6: *4 sc, 1 inc.*, repeat 6 times (36)

Round 7-19: sc in each st (36) (13 rounds)

PUT THE SAFETY EYES BETWEEN ROUNDS 10 Y 11

Round 20: *4sc, 1 dec.*, repeat 6 times (30)

Round 21: *3sc, 1 dec.*, repeat 6 times (24)

Fill firmly the body of the penguin

Round 22: *2sc, 1 dec.*, repeat 6 times (18)

Round 23: *1sc, 1 dec.*, repeat 6 times (12)

Round 24: Decrease until you close the work

Fasten off.

Wings (make 2)

Round 1: 2 ch, sc 6 times in 2nd ch from hook (6)

Round 2: 1 inc., 1 inc., 1sc, 1sc, 1 inc, 1 inc (10)

Rounds 3 - 6: sc in each st (10) (4 rounds)

Fasten off and sew the wings to the body.

Scarf

Make 70 chains.

Turn the work, 1 chain, 70 sc

(3 rounds)

Fasten off.

With white felt make the belly of the penguin (it is half an oval).

With yellow or orange felt, make a triangle for the peak.

Glue the belly and the peak to the penguin, using a fabric glue.

Place the scarf over the wings in a stylish way.
